Vijay Singh has been removed from the published field of this week's Arnold Palmer Invitational.

PGATOUR.com confirmed that Singh's back is once again the culprit this week. He is a three-time winner of next week's Shell Houston Open, but not since the event moved to the Tournament Course at Redstone in 2006. We will know on Friday afternoon at the latest if he will try again in Texas. Mar. 23 - 10:39 am et
